When you go to import the output you may get an error on archidekt, this is most commonly due to what set abbreviations the sites use so clear the set abbreviations from the cards in question and it should go through. Once the category is filled you can sort by category and copy to move all the blanks out of the way and copy just the output you need. Format B is harder as you have to paste the category into column B for each card.Format A you past into column a then use text to columns with a deliminator of # to fill the categories column.Import into the text editor on Archidekt. This step will depend on the formatting of the deck in tapped out.Second will either be blank or your desired Category and last will be this formula which creates the output to paste into Archidekt. First will be the input we copy from tapped out deck editor. In excel or gsheet (google's online excel) make 3 columns. So if your looking to migrate, this will help. Which made the transition harder than a simple copy/paste. One of my biggest hangups was I had a lot of custom categories due to how I build my decks. Hope you don't mind.I spent yesterday exporting my decks from tappedout to Archidekt since Tapped out doesn't support edhrec. I created a repo to track changes, and to have a place to possibly expand on the functionality. Once again, thanks for the script, this saved me a ton of work.įor the changes, I added M15 and Vintage Masters, and fixed Alara Reborn, Alliances and Ice Age: 'VMA': 'Vintage Masters'Īfter I uploaded it to decked builders, I had some more errors, mainly do to little spelling errors. Now that we are on V4, they changed the codes for some sets, so I had to make some changes. I had some cards that were promotional, so I searched the csv for TD0, and linked the card to the original set. It works correctly now, please re-download it if you already got it. I just fixed a bug that caused a miscount of cards where you had both foil and non-foil versions. I'll do it if people really seem to care though. Fixing this is non-trivial since it's not a real set, I'd have to map the reprints back to the set they come from, which requires a card database, etc. The script doesn't support the PRM set, which is basically those fancy promo cards you get from MOPR.The script doesn't take into account foil cards (it'll treat them as normal ones) simply because the coll1 format in Decked Builder doesn't support foils, and I couldn't find documentation for the coll2 format anywhere. If you're on a Mac, you've already got it. You will need to have Python 2.7 installed to use this.Alternatively, feel free to send me free cards from older sets so I can test it out myself ) Please give it a try and let me know if you run into any problems – I've only tested it with newer-ish sets (because those are the only cards I've got). coll file in the same directory which you can just open in Decked Builder to get this: r/magicTCG is not produced, endorsed, supported by, or affiliated with Wizards of the Coast.īasically you invoke it like: $ python convert_mtgo.py /path/to/mtgo_collection.csvĪnd it'll create a.
